ConocoPhillips Receives Offer for Norway Assets, UK Oil Terminal

ConocoPhillips (COP) has informed employees, partners, and regulators that it is evaluating a potential sale of its Norway business and the Teesside oil terminal in the UK after receiving an unsolicited purchase offer, the company said Thursday.
The company did not disclose the name of the potential buyer nor the terms of the offer.
The company will retain the assets if the offer fails to meet its expectations, it said.
