The 30-year yield declined 0.036 percentage point to 5.602% today. The price rose 16/32 to 93 4/32.

--Snaps a seven-trading-day streak of rising yields

--Today's yield is the second highest this year

--Yield is off 0.036 percentage point from its 52-week high of 5.638% hit Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026

--Yield is up 1.064 percentage points from its 52-week low of 4.539% hit Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025

--Yield is up 0.906 percentage point from 52 weeks ago

--Yield is up 0.970 percentage point from its 2026 closing low of 4.632% hit Friday, Feb. 27, 2026

--Year-to-date the yield is up 0.773 percentage point
