Beach Energy's Exclusivity Period on Potential Farm-In With Elixir Energy Expires

Beach Energy's (ASX:BPT) exclusivity period with Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR) in relation to a potential strategic farm-in to Elixir's Taroom Trough portfolio in Queensland expired on Oct. 1 before reaching an agreement on the terms and conditions of the binding documentation regarding the proposed transaction, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Elixir Energy remains in talks with the company on the proposed strategic farm-in, but with the expiry of the exclusivity period, Elixir may now engage with other interested parties on potential strategic transactions involving its Taroom Trough portfolio, the filing said.
