Workday (WDAY) said Thursday it launched operations in the United Arab Emirates with a new Dubai office and expanded local leadership as AI adoption accelerates across the country.
The company said its research showed that 90% of UAE employees use AI at least weekly, saving an average of 3.6 hours a week. However, employees spend an average of 3.4 hours a week clarifying or correcting AI-generated output, highlighting the need for human oversight, the company said.
Workday said its UAE operations will focus on helping organizations modernize HR and finance, manage AI adoption and build local partnerships.
Workday shares were down 2.1% in Thursday trading.
