Update: Accenture Shares Rise After Higher Fiscal Q4 Results

Accenture (ACN) shares were up roughly 23% in Thursday trading after the company posted higher fiscal Q4 results.

The company reported fiscal Q4 GAAP diluted earnings of $3.29 per share, up from $2.25 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.18.

Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 31 was $18.68 billion, up from $17.60 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $18.03 billion.

For fiscal Q1, the company expects revenue of $18.95 billion to $19.60 billion.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $19.35 billion.

For fiscal 2027, the company expects revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency and GAAP diluted EPS of $14.39 to $14.81.

Analysts are looking for $14.64 and $76.40 billion, respectively.

In fiscal 2027, the company also expects to return at least $9.5 billion in cash to shareholders.
