Fed's Collins: Inflation Still Too High, Labor Market Promising

Boston Fed President Susan Collins said inflation is still too high at a conference in Asheville, North Carolina. "There are some promising pieces, but there's some parts that aren't as promising," Collins said after the Fed's preferred inflation report was released Wednesday.

Collins added that with the labor market on relatively solid footing, monetary policy can focus on ensuring the Fed restores sustainable, durable 2% inflation in a timely way.
