Teijin Frontier, Asahi Kasei Advance Merge to Form TA Frontier

Teijin's (TYO:3401) wholly-owned subsidiary Teijin Frontier and Asahi Kasei's (TYO:3407) wholly owned subsidiary Asahi Kasei Advance completed their absorption-type merger to establish TA Frontier, according to a Thursday filing with the Tokyo bourse.
Teijin will hold an 80% stake in TA Frontier, while Asahi Kasei will hold 20%, the filing said.
TA Frontier will combine the two companies' customer bases and business platforms to expand its product and service offerings and boost its ability to solve customer requirements, it said.
Shares of Teijin fell more than 1% in recent trade.
