Toyota Motor (TM) will temporarily suspend production at three plants in Thailand from Oct. 5 to Oct. 10 amid heavy flooding in the country, the company said Friday.

Flooding has disrupted parts deliveries to the automaker's Thailand unit. The company is working with suppliers to restore deliveries while managing parts inventories and adjusting production and logistics plans, it said in a statement.

The suspension period remains subject to the prevailing situation and the availability of parts, Toyota added.
