Exodus Movement Shares Gain on Launch of Stablecoin Payments Solution

Shares of Exodus Movement rose after the company launched a dollar stablecoin-based payments solution.
Shares were up 8.5% at $7.54 as of late Friday morning. They have fallen 49% this year.
The company on Thursday it was now offering Exodus Checkout, a way for businesses to accept payments in dollar stablecoins. The product is debuting with a partnership with DirecTV's Latin American streaming service DGO.
The integration is starting initially in Argentina with plans to expand to other Latin American markets, including Brazil and Mexico. The company said its service should meet growing adoption of stablecoins across the region.
"Exodus was built to give people a better experience using their money, with more control and less friction," Chief Executive Officer JP Richardson said.
