Evolution Metals & Technologies (EMAT) signed a letter of intent for the deployment of Vivify Technology's hydrogen power to support its rare earth magnet operations, the companies said in separate statements Thursday.
Vivify will supply modular, grid-independent power through its Flying Pig hydrogen power units, which deliver up to 1 megawatt per container and can scale through additional modules, the company said.
The agreement marks Vivify's first announced commitment with a publicly traded company, with manufacturing at its Jupiter, Florida, facility scheduled to begin in January 2027, the companies added.
