Exelon (EXC) unit ComEd and solar developer SunVest have energized a community solar project built next to the DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport in Illinois, ComEd said Friday.
Aimed at providing homes and small businesses in the DeKalb area with subscriptions to clean energy, the array has a capacity of almost eight megawatts, with 60% dedicated to low-to-moderate-income customers.
