STARZ Says Verizon Decides to Remove All STARZ Channels for Fios Customers

STARZ (STRZ) said that Verizon (VZ) Fios customers have lost access to all STARZ channels, STARZ On Demand and the STARZ app.
"Despite extensive efforts by STARZ to reach a renewal agreement and preserve uninterrupted access for Verizon Fios customers, Verizon has chosen to remove STARZ," Alison Hoffman, president of STARZ Networks, said in a statement Thursday. "We stand ready to reach a fair agreement that restores STARZ to Verizon customers as quickly as possible."
Verizon did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
