HKE Holdings (HKG:1726) said it will fully unload its equity position and shareholder loans in two trading platform services, True Victor and Wonder Time, for more than HK$300 million in total, citing competitive market conditions in Hong Kong and high operating costs, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.
The company said it expects to book a profit of more than HK$195 million from the disposals, and will direct the proceeds toward trading and asset management business development and working capital, among other things.
Shares were last down 16% in Wednesday trading ahead of midday.
