Market Chatter: Morgan Stanley Clients Holding on Despite Accidental Deal Pipeline Leak

Morgan Stanley (MS) clients are not reconsidering their mandates despite concerns following an accidental disclosure of confidential information about the bank's Asia deal pipeline, CNBC reported late Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Last week, Morgan Stanley reportedly accidentally leaked an internal list of more than 100 deals the bank was working on or monitoring, primarily in Asia.

The leak may not necessarily result in significant lost mandates, as many of the disclosed deals were already widely known in the industry, the unnamed sources told CNBC.

Morgan Stanley didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
