CDC Reports E. Coli Infections Linked to Sierra Nevada Raw Milk Cheese

Health officials are investigating an outbreak of E. coli infections linked to Graziers raw milk cheeses from Sierra Nevada Cheese Co.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said 13 cases have been reported, including eight hospitalizations.
The company's voluntary recall includes Graziers medium cheddar, sharp cheddar, jalapeno jack and Monterey jack cheese.
The Food and Drug Administration said its investigation is ongoing to determine the source of contamination and if there are any other products potentially affected.
The Willows, Calif., company said there were reported illnesses associated with Graziers Raw Milk Medium Cheddar and said the investigation hasn't been narrowed down to a specific lot or date code.
