President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing US executive agencies to use "Super Intelligence" and "SI" instead of "Artificial Intelligence" and "AI" in official communications and policy documents.
The order defines "Super Intelligence" as covering technologies under the existing federal definition of artificial intelligence and directs the White House science and technology adviser to propose legislative language for a federal definition within 60 days.
The order does not require changes to previously issued regulations, contracts, grants or other historical documents.
