St. Joe (JOE) said late Thursday its portfolio of 12 hotels and resorts in Bay and Walton counties, Florida, posted year-over-year growth in occupancy and average daily rates during the summer travel season.
The company said revenue and room nights increased from markets outside the Southeast, including Chicago and Oklahoma City, while the New York metropolitan area was the fastest-growing feeder market in revenue and room nights among cities with nonstop air service to the region.
St. Joe attributed the gains in part to marketing efforts aimed at expanding awareness of Northwest Florida beyond its traditional drive markets.
The company said it plans to continue increased marketing in the New York area during the 2026-2027 winter season to promote Northwest Florida as a winter destination.
