During the National Day holiday, Dandong Airport is expected to handle 26 flight movements, transport 3,275 passengers, and move 9 tons of cargo and mail.
Three routes will operate throughout the holiday period: Air China's Beijing Capital to Dandong service will run daily; China Southern's Shenzhen via Shanghai Pudong to Dandong service will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and China Southern's Guangzhou via Yangzhou to Dandong service will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, providing passengers with stable air transportation support.
To create a strong festive atmosphere of national pride, Dandong Airport has organized National Day-themed convenience and interactive activities in the public areas of the terminal building, enhancing service warmth and enriching the travel experience for passengers.
The information desk is equipped with public telephones, offering inquiry services and assistance for passengers with special needs. A convenience service box is also available, containing small items such as sewing kits, nail clippers, and band-aids for passengers' unexpected needs.
For first-time flyers and special groups including the elderly, weak, sick, disabled, and pregnant, the airport provides escort, guidance, handover, and priority boarding services.
In accordance with laws and regulations, priority travel policies are implemented for specific groups such as military personnel and fire and rescue workers, with convenience provided at check-in, security screening, and boarding to ensure smooth travel for these key groups.
