Fifth Global Digital Trade Expo concludes with over 50,000 professional buyers attending

The Fifth Global Digital Trade Expo concluded on September 27 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. According to the results conference of the Fifth Global Digital Trade Expo, a total of 2,008 companies exhibited on-site, with cumulative visitor attendance reaching 428,000. During the event, more than 50,000 professional buyers attended for procurement, representing a 20% increase compared to the previous edition.

The expo adopted "Encountering the AI Future at the Digital Trade Expo" as its annual theme, highlighting artificial intelligence features. A total of 226 "debut, first-show, first-exhibition" items covered fields including digital healthcare, digital entertainment, and digital mobility. A total of 996 artificial intelligence companies exhibited, roughly three times the number of the previous edition, bringing over 100 AI application scenarios.

Malaysia and Hungary served as guest countries of honor, while France, South Korea, Peru, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and other countries participated as delegations. More than 12,000 international buyers attended, further expanding the expo's international circle of friends. The expo also unveiled key platforms including the China headquarters of the Arab Digital Economy Alliance, and released over 100 authoritative reports, rankings, initiatives, and consensus documents including the Global Digital Trade Development Report 2026, promoting international public goods such as China's meteorological intelligent early warning solution "Mazu" to benefit developing countries.

In terms of industry-trade matchmaking, the expo established cooperation with 132 overseas business associations, pre-arranged procurement demand lists in advance, and held over 50 specialized trade matching events. Concurrently, the expo hosted digital technology application competitions including the World Artificial Intelligence Open Source Competition, the Embodied Intelligence Application Challenge, and the Global Brain-Computer Interface Innovation Competition, attracting over 10,000 teams to compete, effectively promoting the transformation and application of digital technologies.
