LG Electronics to Invest 150 Billion Won in AI Data Center Cooling Systems

According to a statement, LG Electronics will invest approximately 150 billion won to expand its production capacity for AI data center cooling systems in the United States and South Korea.
LG Electronics will build a chiller plant in Windsor, Virginia, to produce air-cooled chillers, with production expected to begin in the first half of 2027.
In addition, LG Electronics will add air-cooled chiller production lines at its plants in Pyeongtaek and Changwon in South Korea, and upgrade related production equipment.
