China's First Deepwater Oilfield Liuhua Achieves New Breakthrough

During this National Day holiday, China's deepwater oilfield production has reached a new milestone.

Today, the Liuhua Oilfield, China's first deepwater oilfield, saw its secondary development project cumulative crude oil production surpass 2 million tonnes.

As of now, the oilfield has produced over 40 million tonnes of crude oil in total, with daily output hitting a record high since it began production 22 years ago, providing solid support for safeguarding national energy security.
