As the National Day Golden Week approaches, airports under Jilin Airport Group are bracing for a small peak in travel for tourism and family visits.

During the National Day holiday, Jilin Airport Group is expected to handle 2,744 flight takeoffs and landings and 428,000 passenger trips, representing year-on-year increases of 5.4% and 5.1%, respectively.

Among them, Changchun Airport is expected to complete 2,400 flights, averaging 343 per day, with passenger throughput of 379,200 trips, averaging 54,000 per day.

Passenger flow at Changchun Airport during the holiday will be characterized by concentrated departures in the early period, stability in the middle of the holiday, and a return travel peak in the later period. Popular routes are concentrated in southern tourist cities and major domestic trunk routes, with a flight volume peak of 360 and a passenger flow peak of 56,000, expected to occur on October 1 and October 7.

Changchun Airport has joined forces with various airlines to optimize capacity deployment and has launched a series of aviation tourism and terminal commercial marketing activities. Inbound and outbound passengers can enjoy dining and retail discounts, promoting aviation-driven traffic and non-aviation revenue enhancement, achieving two-way empowerment between aviation and tourism.

At the same time, the airport will coordinate safety operations, passenger services, and commercial support to fully safeguard passengers' safe and smooth travel.
