Marking the grand occasion of the nation's birthday, books nourish the hearts of the people.

To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of New China and to continuously cultivate a new trend of reading for all among residents, during the National Day holiday, Fengcheng Subdistrict coordinated the resources of rural libraries in Guozhuang Village and Dongyuan Community to jointly launch a themed civilization practice activity titled "Books Welcome National Day, Joyful Reading for a Better Life," while also carrying out legal education sessions on the Regulations on the Promotion of Reading for All, bringing law-based reading culture to the people.

The event site had a strong atmosphere filled with the fragrance of books.

Civilization practice volunteers, using plain and down-to-earth language, explained the core content of the Regulations on the Promotion of Reading for All in simple terms, and provided detailed explanations of key knowledge such as grassroots public reading services and the protection of the people's reading rights, enabling residents to understand the policies and enjoy reading services.

Residents at the site carefully selected quality books on red classics, local culture, and popular science for daily life, reading quietly and exchanging reading insights and sharing reflections with one another, deepening patriotic feelings and paying tribute to the great motherland amid the fragrance of ink and books.

This joint practical activity involving two libraries deeply integrated legal education with reading for all, effectively stimulating the enthusiasm and initiative of the people for reading and learning, and further creating a strong atmosphere of loving reading, reading good books, and being good at reading.

In the next step, Fengcheng Subdistrict will continue to revitalize public cultural venues such as rural libraries and civilization practice stations, constantly innovate the forms of reading activities, enrich cultural service content, continue to solidly and meticulously carry out reading for all, promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of book culture development, enrich the people's spiritual and cultural life with a rich book culture, and ensure that reading for all truly takes root and goes deeper and more solid.
