Conch Cement Repurchases 450,000 H-Shares for HKD 7.32 Million, Slightly Trims Free Float

On 17 September 2026, Conch Cement (Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited) executed an on-market buyback of 450,000 H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, spending HKD 7.32 million. The repurchases were carried out at prices ranging from HKD 16.18 to HKD 16.31 per share, implying an average cost of approximately HKD 16.26 per share.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.035 % to 1.28419 billion, while treasury shares rose to 15.42 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.29960 billion, as the repurchased stock is being held in treasury rather than cancelled.

The purchases form part of the share repurchase mandate approved on 28 May 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 1.30 billion shares. To date, Conch Cement has repurchased 15.42 million shares under this mandate, representing 1.19 % of the company’s issued share capital as at the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Conch Cement is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 17 October 2026, 30 days after the latest repurchase. The company confirmed that all buybacks were conducted in accordance with Main Board regulations, with no changes to the previously filed Explanatory Statement.
