Mongol Mining Corporation reported no change in its issued share capital as of 29 September 2026, maintaining 1.03 billion ordinary shares outstanding. However, the company continued its share repurchase programme, buying back an additional 900,000 shares on 29 September via on-market transactions at prices between HKD 8.375 and HKD 8.600. The purchase cost HKD 7.68 million, implying an average price of approximately HKD 8.53 per share.

Including earlier trades on 23, 24 and 25 September, Mongol Mining has repurchased a total of 2.40 million shares in the period from 23–29 September. The combined outlay over these four sessions amounts to roughly HKD 20.73 million, with volume-weighted average prices ranging from HKD 8.53 to HKD 8.74.

All 2.40 million repurchased shares—equivalent to 0.23% of the current issued share base—remain pending cancellation. Under the shareholder mandate approved on 21 May 2026, Mongol Mining is authorised to repurchase up to 103.42 million shares. To date, 14.75 million shares, representing 1.43% of the shares outstanding at the time of the mandate, have been bought back.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 29 October 2026 following the latest repurchase. All buybacks were executed in compliance with the exchange’s listing requirements, and the board has confirmed receipt of all funds related to the transactions.
