To effectively carry out safety production work during the Mid-Autumn Festival and ensure that residents in the jurisdiction enjoy a safe holiday, on September 25, the District Safety Committee Office organized the emergency management, fire rescue, commerce, and gas management departments to conduct joint safety inspections of large shopping malls and key hotels within the jurisdiction.

The inspection team closely focused on the characteristics of crowded public venues during the holiday period, including surging foot traffic and concentrated promotional activities, with particular attention to fire safety, gas safety, and electrical safety. They focused on verifying whether evacuation routes and emergency exits remained unobstructed and whether firefighting equipment and facilities were intact and functional; they investigated whether gas alarm devices were operating normally and whether electrical wiring installation met safety standards; and they conducted on-site supervision of duty arrangements during the holiday period, crowd management contingency plans, emergency drill implementation, and employee safety education and training.

Regarding the problems identified during the inspections, the inspection team provided a list of issues to the operating units on the spot, specifying rectification standards and completion deadlines. At the same time, they urged the heads of each unit to earnestly fulfill their responsibilities as the first person responsible for safety production, increase patrol frequency during the holiday period, strengthen staffing at key posts, and prepare in advance for large crowds.

Next, the District Safety Committee Office will continue to follow up on the implementation of hazard rectification, organize timely "look-back" inspections during the holiday period, consolidate safety control measures at every stage, and make every effort to ensure that the safety production situation in the jurisdiction remains stable and orderly during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
