In accordance with the central government's directives to intensify the special campaign against organized crime, authorities are now cracking down on illegal activities in the natural resources field, targeting offenses like "sand tyrants" and "mining tyrants." The goal is to dismantle the networks of protection and influence behind these operations, safeguarding the integrity of natural resource management across the county. To this end, we are now soliciting reports from the public regarding any organized crime or misconduct in this sector.
Scope of Reported Information
First, we seek information on groups using online platforms or coercive tactics for illegal debt collection, blackmail through negative press, or malicious claims. Second, we are looking into crimes linked to local strongmen, including those dominating villages, towns, sand markets, mining operations, streets, or commercial areas. Third, reports concerning the illicit monopolization of mineral resources or unauthorized sand and gravel extraction are welcome. Fourth, we also target individuals providing protective cover for these criminal elements.
Reporting Channels
You can report by phone at 0451-57423885. Alternatively, you may send written correspondence or visit our office in person at the Office of the Anticrime Unit, Tonghe County Natural Resources Bureau, located on Binjiang Avenue, Tonghe County (Postal Code: 150900).
Important Notes for Informatics
When filing a report, please provide as much detail as possible, including the names, registered residences, current addresses, and contact numbers of those involved. Additionally, specify the timing, location, methods used, and any financial transactions that occurred. Supporting materials like recordings, videos, chat records, contracts, or transfer receipts should also be included.
While anonymous reports are possible, we strongly encourage providing your real name. The receiving unit strictly protects the confidentiality of all informants and their safety, in full accordance with the law. However, fabricating claims, distorting facts to unjustly accuse others, or using this channel for retaliation constitutes a crime and will result in legal consequences.
We urge anyone who has engaged in the aforementioned activities to voluntarily surrender themselves. Those who honestly confess their crimes, return illicit gains, or assist in exposing accomplices may be eligible for lighter or reduced penalties as stipulated by law.
