Jiading Alliance for Emerging-Sector IP Collaboration Holds First 2026 Session

To consolidate the strength of regional innovation players and advance collaborative intellectual property development in emerging fields, the Jiading District Emerging-Sector Intellectual Property Collaboration Alliance recently convened its first session for 2026. The meeting aimed to leverage IP as a binding link to construct a full-chain collaborative innovation system covering "source innovation, technology validation, value assessment, financial empowerment, and incubation landing."

The Jiading District Intellectual Property Administration, Juyuan Subdistrict, along with 14 member institutions including research institutes, universities, financial organizations, IP service providers, R&D transformation platforms, incubators, and law firms, attended the session. During the meeting, participating entities jointly reviewed the draft charter of the alliance, finalized the membership application process and forms, and elected the alliance chairman through consultation. In the exchange segment, attendees engaged in lively discussions on alliance development, IP application and transformation, IP-related financial services, IP protection, and talent cultivation. Consensus was reached on integrating premium professional resources, conducting immersive matchmaking exchanges, and deepening targeted publicity and training efforts.

The newly appointed alliance chairman stated that, in response to evolving IP trends and requirements, the alliance will intensify professional talent development and expand IP promotional, training, and science-popularization activities. The focus will remain on industrial development goals, with in-depth exchanges targeting corporate IP risk control and technology commercialization, while establishing a positive interaction mechanism to strengthen resource complementarity, foster mutual learning, and fully unlock the alliance's resource advantages to achieve a synergistic effect of 1+1 being greater than 2.

The Jiading District Intellectual Property Administration noted that Juyuan Subdistrict clusters high-quality resources such as universities, research institutes, and key incubators, with a solid IP foundation and a vibrant innovation atmosphere. The administration emphasized that the alliance should closely align with key industrial tracks like integrated circuits and automobiles, enhance IP creation and layout, and effectively convert the region's industrial base advantages into IP competitive edges. It also stressed deepening collaboration and linkage by leveraging the alliance's bridging role to promote the industrialization of IP achievements and fully unlock IP value. Furthermore, the administration highlighted the need to prevent IP risks by utilizing internal alliance resources and strengthening communication with public security, procuratorate, court, and market regulation departments. On the talent front, it called for collective efforts to plan distinctive IP activities and continuously expand the professional IP workforce.

This session clarified the alliance's operational rules and clarified the direction of work for the next phase, laying a solid foundation for the coordinated innovation of intellectual property in Jiading's emerging sectors. Moving forward, the alliance will actively promote IP application, protection, and rights enforcement, striving to boost technological innovation and industrial advancement in the district.
