An enterprise in the Jiangdu Economic Development Zone has obtained a data property rights registration certificate, becoming the first certified company in the city and part of the first batch of such registrations in the province.
The company, Baixing Embodied Data Technology Co., Ltd., completed the registration for its embodied intelligence operation dataset designed for domestic service scenarios. Data property rights registration, simply put, is like giving data resources an "official household registration," clarifying ownership and revenue attribution. Since the National Data Administration officially implemented the data property rights registration system on September 11, the district has been accelerating its efforts in confirming data factor rights.
The registered dataset is the company's core data asset in the embodied intelligence field for domestic service scenarios. In plain terms, it serves as "training material" to teach humanoid robots how to do housework, containing approximately 6,000 remote operation demonstration trajectories for humanoid robots, with a total storage size of about 200GB.
"Obtaining this certificate is like getting an 'ID card' for our data resources," the company's head said with a vivid analogy. "With compliant data sources and clear ownership, we now have key support for subsequent listing and trading, asset capitalization, and financing credit enhancement. We feel more confident in expanding the market."
The company's confidence is backed by the precise services of the district's Data Bureau. To facilitate the smooth registration of this dataset, the district Data Bureau proactively reached out, collaborating with the Jiangsu Provincial Data Exchange and the Yangzhou Big Data Group to help the company sort out data sources, standardize ownership materials, and complete registration requirements, providing full-process tracking and guidance to ensure the registration passed in one go.
The landing of this certificate marks a zero breakthrough in data factor rights confirmation in the district's embodied intelligence track and opens a new path for compliant data circulation and value extraction in Jiangdu's artificial intelligence industry. According to a responsible person from the district Data Bureau, the registration certificate serves as a legal proof of compliant data sources, giving "Jiangdu-produced" data resources a "passport" to enter the provincial data factor market.
The landing of the first certificate is a new starting point for Jiangdu's efforts to deepen the market-oriented reform of data factor allocation. "We will serve as a good helper for enterprises, guiding them in data property rights registration, product listing, and asset capitalization," said Li Rong, director of the district Data Bureau. In the next step, the bureau will collaborate with professional institutions to provide full-process services, expand the coverage of rights confirmation, and promote the transformation of results into transactions and asset capitalization, making data factors a "new engine" for Jiangdu's industrial upgrading.
