According to Zhitong Finance APP, SD GOLD (01787) rebounded over 4%. As of press time, it rose 4.26% to HK$19.32, with a turnover of HK$151 million.

On the news front, SD GOLD announced that it adjusted its 2026 production and operation plan, revising its mineral gold output from the originally planned no less than 49 tonnes to 36-38 tonnes. The reasons for the adjustment include the impact on output from safety self-inspections caused by industry safety accidents in the first half of the year, as well as increased efforts in domestic mine infrastructure construction in the second half of the year.

BOCI stated that after incorporating the company's updated production guidance, it lowered its 2026 core earnings per share forecast by 22%. Although the company currently expects a decline in net profit for 2026, as production returns to normal, performance is expected to achieve strong growth in 2027. The bank reiterated its "Buy" rating on SD GOLD and lowered its target price to HK$38.04.
