Anhui Supports Supply Chain Transformation, Guides Automakers into Cross-Sector Robotics Layout

The General Office of the Anhui Provincial People's Government has issued implementation guidelines on promoting the high-quality development of the robotics industry, calling for deeper coordinated development between the automotive and robotics sectors.

The policy leverages the strong linkages between the auto and robotics industries, encouraging automakers to cultivate a "second growth curve."

It supports supply chain transformation by guiding automakers to expand into key robotics segments through cross-sector layout. It also supports the sharing of innovation chains by encouraging automakers to open up R&D platforms and technological achievements, collaborating with robotics firms to tackle common technologies and accelerating the commercialization of innovation results. In addition, it supports the flow of talent across sectors by guiding automakers to channel various types of professionals into the robotics field, and supports service chain empowerment by guiding automakers to provide robotics SMEs with services such as parts contract manufacturing, prototyping and trial production, and product testing.
