During this National Day holiday, Nanjing rolled out a total of 193 cultural, commercial, tourism, sports, and performance events.
According to data from Tuniu, Nanjing ranked among the top domestic travel destinations on the first day of the holiday; data from Qunar showed that Nanjing was also a popular city for hotel check-ins on the same day.
At the Zhongshan Scenic Area, autumn colors were beginning to show and the fragrance of osmanthus filled the air as crowds flowed in.
At the Plum Blossom Art Center within the Ming Xiaoling Scenic Area, the Chinese Literary Masters' Manuscripts and Letters Exhibition Hall launched activities such as "Co-creating a Memorable Postcard" and a Zhongshan poetry trivia challenge, drawing enthusiastic participation from families with children. At the Changsheng Deer Park, deer strolled leisurely, adding lively vitality to the autumn mountain forest. Children interacted closely with the deer while parents enjoyed aromatic coffee nearby, savoring the relaxation and joy of the holiday.
Staff at the Zhongshan Scenic Area were all on duty, and a group of young volunteers were stationed at various points, providing civilized guidance, order maintenance, free interpretation, and venue services. At the sightseeing bus stops where crowds gathered, staff busily directed the flow, guiding visitors to queue in an orderly manner and board safely. The scenic area also welcomed many foreign tourists that day, with foreign-language guides at the ticket center speaking fluent English to explain Zhongshan's tourism overview and visiting tips, earning high praise from international visitors.

According to Tuniu's booking data as of press time, among domestic packaged tourism product bookings for the National Day holiday, demand for group tours and independent travel products rose, with the number of trips on the first day achieving double-digit year-on-year growth. Nanjing joined Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Sanya, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Xi'an, Hangzhou, and Kunming as popular domestic travel destinations on the first day of the National Day holiday.
Data from Qunar showed that Nanjing joined Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Changsha, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Wuhan, and Guiyang as popular cities for hotel check-ins on the first day of the National Day holiday.
