Anhui Fengyuan Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. (000153.SZ) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bengbu Fengyuan Tushan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has received the Approval Notice for Drug Substance Marketing Authorization for Tirofiban Hydrochloride, issued by the National Medical Products Administration.

Tirofiban Hydrochloride is a reversible antagonist that blocks the binding of fibrinogen to the GPⅡb/Ⅲa receptor on the platelet surface. When administered intravenously, it inhibits platelet aggregation and is indicated for adult patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) to reduce the risk of ischemic events such as early myocardial infarction. It is also used in patients with ST-segment elevation acute myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) to reduce the occurrence of major cardiovascular events.
