Shandong Gold (01787) Sees HK$614 Million Share Transfer, 12.9871 Million Shares Moved Out from HSBC Hong Kong

According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Shandong Gold (01787) experienced a position change on September 30, with a total transferred market value of HK$614 million, accounting for 3.33%.

The company's shareholder transferred 26.6076 million shares into Citibank, while moving 12.9871 million shares out from HSBC Hong Kong.

Previously, Shandong Gold issued an announcement stating that the company's chairman, Mr. Wang Chenglong, proposed that the company use its own funds and self-raised funds to repurchase part of its shares through centralized bidding transactions. The repurchased shares will be cancelled in accordance with the law to reduce the company's registered capital. The total amount of funds for the share repurchase is RMB 300 million (inclusive) to RMB 400 million (inclusive).
