The EPC general contracting agreement for the Fujian Changle offshore centralized unified transmission project was formally signed in Fuzhou on the morning of September 28.

Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group took part in the ceremony as a consortium member, with Zhang Jian, a member of the company's Party Standing Committee and vice president, attending and delivering remarks.

Zhang Jian expressed gratitude to the project owner, Fujian Fuzhou Mintou Offshore Wind Power Converter Station Co., Ltd., to consortium lead Fujian Yili Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., and to the other consortium members for their trust and support. He stated that Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group firmly carries out national strategies, earnestly implements the work arrangements of CCCC Group, accelerates its push toward high-end, intelligent, green and international development, speeds up the building of a modern industrial system, fully cultivates new quality productive forces, and comprehensively strengthens its integrated equipment manufacturing service capabilities. He added that the company has taken part in several major national offshore wind power projects and possesses the strength to undertake the offshore converter station construction task for this project, and that it will deepen multi-party cooperation, make every effort to ensure the project is delivered on schedule and with high quality, and help drive the high-quality development of Fujian Province's offshore wind power industry.

The Fujian Changle offshore converter station is currently the world's highest-voltage (±525 kV) and largest-capacity (2,100 MW) offshore flexible DC transmission project, and it is China's first true "offshore wind power cluster-style unified convergence super hub." As the core contractor within the consortium, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group provided crucial support for the successful bid through its strength in the construction and offshore installation of converter stations and other core equipment.

This marks another offshore converter station order for Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group, following the Jiangsu Rudong, Guangdong Three Gorges Qingzhou and Guangdong Power Grid Sanshandao projects, keeping its market share firmly in first place nationwide and highlighting the company's leading position in the sector.
