Prudential plc (PRU) reported on Sep, 30 2026 that its issued share capital admitted to trading comprises 2.481 billion ordinary shares of GBP 0.05 each.

Each ordinary share confers one voting right, and the company holds no treasury shares, leaving the total number of voting rights at 2.481 billion.

Prudential noted that shareholders and other parties should use the 2,481,079,843 figure as the denominator when determining disclosure obligations under the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

The insurer, which focuses on life and health coverage and asset management across Greater China, ASEAN, India and Africa, maintains primary listings in Hong Kong and London and secondary listings in Singapore and New York.
