The fifth Global Digital Trade Expo concluded on September 27 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
According to the results conference of the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo, a total of 2,008 companies exhibited on-site, with cumulative attendance reaching 428,000 visits.
During the event, more than 50,000 professional buyers attended for procurement, a 20% increase compared to the previous edition.
The fifth Global Digital Trade Expo adopted the annual theme of "Encountering the AI Future at the Digital Trade Expo," highlighting artificial intelligence features, with 226 "debut, first-show, first-exhibition" items covering digital healthcare, digital entertainment, digital mobility, and other fields.
A total of 996 artificial intelligence companies exhibited, roughly three times the number of the previous edition, bringing over 100 artificial intelligence application scenarios.
Malaysia and Hungary served as guest countries of honor, while France, South Korea, Peru, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and other countries organized group exhibitions, with over 12,000 international buyers participating, further expanding the Expo's international circle of friends.
The fifth Global Digital Trade Expo also unveiled key platforms such as the China headquarters of the Arab Digital Economy Alliance, and released over 100 authoritative industry reports, rankings, initiatives, and consensus documents including the "Global Digital Trade Development Report 2026," promoting international public goods such as China's meteorological intelligent early warning solution "Mazu" to benefit developing countries.
In terms of industry-trade matching, the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo established cooperation with 132 overseas business associations, pre-arranged procurement demand lists in advance, and held over 50 specialized trade matching activities.
During the same period, the Expo hosted digital technology application competitions including the World Artificial Intelligence Open Source Competition, the Embodied Intelligence Application Challenge, and the Global Brain-Computer Interface Innovation Competition, attracting over 10,000 teams to compete, effectively promoting the transformation and application of digital technologies.
