To promote fine traditional Chinese culture, enrich the humanistic service offerings of the airport, innovate festive service scenarios, and foster a warm travel atmosphere, Changchun Airport joined hands with Changchun Museum to launch a themed event titled "Bright Moon Accompanies the Journey, Skilled Hands Celebrate Mid-Autumn" as the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, allowing traditional charm to permeate the airport space and warm services to accompany travelers on their homeward journeys.

During the preparation phase, Changchun Airport took into account the actual travel patterns of passengers, refined its coordination plan, completed meticulous arrangements, and conducted multiple rounds of in-depth discussions with Changchun Museum to finalize the event theme and procedural details. Based on passenger flow routes within the terminal building, the central area of the isolated zone was selected as the event venue. (Photos provided by Changchun Airport)

The event site was vibrant and bustling with a strong festive atmosphere. Two classic intangible cultural heritage handicraft experiences were carefully selected for this event: traditional rubbing and ancient-style lacquer fan making. These activities combined cultural significance, visual appeal, and interactivity, offering rich variety and strong entertainment value. Staff members served as cultural ambassadors, providing detailed explanations of the origins of Mid-Autumn folk customs and the cultural connotations of traditional crafts, patiently demonstrating the production process, and offering hands-on guidance to passengers as they experienced the creative process.

Passersby stopped to participate, gaining insight into the charm of traditional culture through hands-on creation, and easing their travel fatigue through immersive experiences. This transformed what would have been a hurried wait at the terminal into a poetic and heartwarming time, adding a distinctive Mid-Autumn flavor to their busy journeys.

This celebration with passengers is a vivid practice of Changchun Airport's efforts to deepen its "humanistic airport" development and advance the integration of "aviation plus cultural tourism." By incorporating traditional festival culture and intangible cultural heritage folk crafts into passenger travel scenarios, the airport effectively enriched its distinctive service measures, endowed travel services with warmth and cultural depth, and genuinely enhanced passengers' sense of happiness and fulfillment during travel, allowing those on their journeys to feel the warmth of Mid-Autumn during their time at the terminal.

Changchun Airport will continue to dedicate itself to developing its "humanistic airport" initiative, collaborating with local cultural tourism resources, and leveraging traditional festival occasions to carry out diverse special service activities. Through rigorous and efficient on-site support and warm, high-quality service, the airport will continuously elevate passengers' sense of fulfillment and happiness during their travels.
