Benmo Technology, a leading hard-tech enterprise, officially opened its bookbuilding on September 21 and is scheduled to debut on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 29, with CITIC Securities (Hong Kong) acting as the sole sponsor. As the first direct-drive technology pure-play to list in Hong Kong, the company originated from a youth-led innovation team and has developed an independent direct-drive solution to address the inherent limitations of traditional gearbox transmission systems, spearheading a technological revolution against century-old global power system conventions.
According to data from Frost & Sullivan, the company shipped over 8.5 million direct-drive power modules for consumer robots in China in 2025, achieving cumulative mass production at the ten-million-unit scale and ranking first globally. Its client base includes four of the world's top ten consumer robot manufacturers.
Benmo Technology's dual-wheeled foot robot products hold the second-largest market share in China, and the company is among the few globally to master swarm control technology for wheeled-foot robots. From 2023 to 2025, its revenue posted a compound annual growth rate exceeding 300%, with continuous profitability improvements driven by scaled operations.
Amid the surging wave of embodied intelligence, the penetration rate of direct-drive technology remains low, underscoring substantial growth headroom. With its public listing, the company will intensify R&D investment, expand automated production capacity, and accelerate the adoption of direct-drive technology across diverse scenarios, further broadening its domestic and international ecosystem footprint to cement its leadership position in the sector.
