On September 24, the Shizhu sub-venue of the Chongqing Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives' "Thousand Villages, Ten Thousand Accounts" agricultural assistance livestream·Rice Fragrance Season, alongside the Sanxing Fragrant Rice Terrace Harvest Experience Series of Events, was held at the Daliangzi Terraces in Sanxing Township, Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, Chongqing.
Activities at the event included a rice threshing competition, a duck-catching contest in the rice paddies, lion dance performances, gong and drum performances, and Tujia hand-waving dance demonstrations. Local residents celebrated the rice harvest with a rich variety of performances.
The Daliangzi Terraces in Sanxing Township, Shizhu, cover an area of approximately 200 mu and were once named one of Chongqing's "Most Beautiful Terraces." In the golden autumn season, layer upon layer of golden rice waves surge across the mountain ridges, presenting a beautiful pastoral scene.
