The Hefei (Baohe) Robotics Industrial Park officially opened its doors on September 22. Situated within the Baohe Economic Development Zone, the park spans a planned area of roughly 117 mu. It focuses on the research, development, and manufacturing of intelligent robots, targeting upgrades in the "AI + intelligent robot" sector. The industrial layout centers on the assembly of high-end industrial robots and intelligent service robots, supported by domestic breakthroughs in core components such as actuation, perception, and control systems. The goal is to establish a self-reliant and controllable intelligent robotics supply chain.
To mark the launch, the park hosted an open day featuring a corporate exhibition area. Fourteen companies, including Zero-Point Robotics, Dingli Kexing, Xinghui Sensing, and Zhongke Shengu, presented their products, showcasing the latest advancements in Anhui's robotics and embodied intelligence sector. The event served as a practical platform for industry collaboration, project matchmaking, and investment attraction.
In recent years, Baohe District has designated intelligent robotics as a key focus area among its "hundred-billion-level future industries". The district is prioritizing humanoid and intelligent robots, AI vision, complete machine integration, and core components. It aims to foster a growth pole that integrates R&D commercialization, industrial clustering, and application scenarios, creating a development cycle that runs from "scenario opening", to "product validation", to "order conversion", and finally to "enterprise clustering". As of the first half of 2026, the district has brought together more than 100 upstream and downstream companies in the intelligent robotics supply chain, with initial signs of cluster formation becoming evident.
