Keppel DC REIT said on Sep, 29 2026 that its wholly owned subsidiary, KDCR Tokyo 3 TMK, has arranged two new financing lines: a JPY 15,509,501,200 consumption tax loan facility and JPY 24,000,000,000 of green bonds issued under the trust’s Green Financing Framework.

The borrowings are guaranteed by Perpetual (Asia) Limited, acting as trustee of Keppel DC REIT. Both facilities include a clause that would require full pre-payment of the loan and redemption of the bonds within 10 business days if Keppel DC REIT’s manager ceases to be a subsidiary of Keppel Ltd.

If such a change of control occurred and subsequently triggered cross-defaults across other borrowings, up to about 3,865.2 million Singapore dollars of the group’s total facilities could be affected, the trust said.

Keppel DC REIT added that no such Mandatory Prepayment Event has occurred to date.
