This case represents the first of its kind in the relevant field for market regulation authorities nationwide.

During the investigation, law enforcement officers worked closely together, tackled difficulties head-on, and continuously dug deeper into case sources and leads. They studied the operational logic of generative engine optimization technology, identified the true purpose behind feeding AI and contaminating data sources, and gradually clarified the behavioral components of the case. At the same time, they collaborated with AI platforms to conduct technical verification, established the direct causal relationship between targeted feeding and generated content, and fully reconstructed the case chain of "data feeding — algorithm distortion — user misdirection," ultimately issuing an administrative penalty in accordance with the law.

The investigation of this case aims to actively explore pathways for market regulation authorities to address technology-based illegal activities and safeguard AI ecosystem governance. It not only effectively cracks down on new types of illegal activities carried out using emerging technologies, but also fills the practical gap in unfair competition enforcement in the AI field, forming a replicable and promotable enforcement model for similar cases nationwide and providing systematic countermeasures for AI ecosystem governance.
