China Literature Shares Surge Over 4% as "Lan Xiang Ru Gu" Tops Ratings and Multiple IP Adaptations Open for Pre-Registration

China Literature (00772) saw its shares rise more than 4% in the afternoon session. As of press time, the stock was up 3.90% at HK$20.78, with a turnover of HK$70.711 million.

On the news front, according to a report, the drama "Lan Xiang Ru Gu," currently airing on CCTV-8 and Tencent Video, has drawn significant attention. On the television side, "Lan Xiang Ru Gu" ranked first nationwide in its time slot during CCTV-8's prime time, and became the highest-rated single episode among all dramas that have aired in CCTV-8's evening slot in 2026. On the online side, the series surpassed a heat index of 32,000 on Tencent Video on September 22 and currently holds the title of 2026's highest heat index of the year.

The drama is adapted from He Yanshan's work "Lan Xiang Yuan," which is an IP under China Literature.

It is worth noting that China Literature recently disclosed that multiple adaptation works based on its IPs have opened for pre-registration on relevant platforms both on and off-site. These include "From the Red Moon Rises," adapted from Hei Shan Lao Gui's work of the same name; "Today I Still Haven't Become a Doll," adapted from Hua Hua Liao's work of the same name; "Tomorrow's Paradise," adapted from Xu Wei Ju Quan's "Doomsday Paradise"; and "We Live in Nanjing," adapted from Tian Rui Shuo Fu's work of the same name.
