Jinshang Bank reported operating income of RMB 2.89 billion for the six months ended 30 June 2026, a 5.7% year-on-year increase driven by a 12.2% rise in net interest income to RMB 2.28 billion. Net profit edged down 0.7%-to-RMB 1.04 billion as higher credit-impairment charges (+23.0% YoY to RMB 953.0 million) offset revenue growth.
Net interest margin expanded 9 basis points to 1.22%, while net interest spread improved 8 basis points to 1.10% thanks to lower funding costs. Net fee and commission income fell 11.0% to RMB 230 million, reflecting softer wealth-management and card-related fees.
Total assets rose 2.2% from end-2025 to RMB 401.72 billion, underpinned by a 10.3% advance in net loans to RMB 232.12 billion. Customer deposits slipped 0.8% to RMB 318.19 billion, lifting the loan-to-deposit ratio to 77.26% (end-2025: 69.96%).
Asset quality showed mild pressure: the non-performing loan ratio increased to 2.05% from 1.95% at year-end, while the allowance coverage ratio declined to 165.40% from 191.00%. Capital buffers remained above regulatory minimums with a core tier-one capital adequacy ratio of 10.53% (end-2025: 10.46%) and a total capital adequacy ratio of 12.91% (end-2025: 13.96%).
Liquidity metrics stayed solid; the liquidity coverage ratio was 143.98% and the net stable funding ratio 122.69%, both comfortably above the 100% regulatory threshold, although the leverage ratio remained healthy at 6.83%.
Strategically, Jinshang Bank continues to emphasise support for Shanxi’s real economy, advancing its 2026-2030 plan focused on corporate and inclusive finance, retail transformation and digitalisation. On 7 August 2026, regulators approved the Bank’s plan to double Jinshang Consumer Finance Co., Ltd.’s registered capital to RMB 1.00 billion, increasing the Bank’s stake to 70%.
The Board declared a 2025 final dividend of RMB 5.00 cents per share (total payout: RMB 291.93 million), distributed on 20 August 2026. No interim dividend for 1H26 was proposed.
