The 2026 Greenwich Economic Forum (GEF) will be held from October 5 to 7 in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA.
The forum will bring together heads of global investment institutions, economists, and policy figures to discuss topics including the US economy and debt risks, private credit, alternative investments, the application of artificial intelligence in finance, and global capital allocation.
The evening of October 5 will feature an opening networking event, with the formal conference taking place on October 6 and 7.
According to the agenda as of September 25, this year's guests include Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio, former US Treasury Secretary Robert E. Rubin, and Nassim Nicholas Taleb, author of "The Black Swan," as well as executives from institutions including Guggenheim Investments, Churchill Asset Management, Franklin Templeton, and iCapital.
Dalio will discuss the evolution of world order, Rubin will talk about the US economic outlook, and Taleb will discuss the fragility of the current financial system.
The forum's location, Greenwich, is adjacent to New York and is a major gathering place for US hedge funds and alternative investment institutions.
This year's forum has also set up special sessions including "The US Debt Crisis: Risk in Risk-Free Assets," "How AI Is Changing Investment Decisions," "New Perspectives on Family Office Portfolio Analysis," and "Digital Assets and Tokenization."
How global economic uncertainty affects asset allocation, and how artificial intelligence will change the decision-making methods of investment institutions, will become noteworthy topics at this year's forum.
